A pair of clutch performances wrapped up a drama-filled and action-packed return to Emporia, Kansas for the 2023 Disc Golf Pro Tour — Dynamic Discs Open.
The stage was set in the morning when Hailey King and Holyn Hanley carried their back-and-forth shootout to the brink, and then some.
King surged down the stretch to take a one-stroke lead heading into hole 18 before Hanley sent her drive into the bullseye for a tap-in eagle to send it to a playoff.
Once again, the conditions were calm and the scores were hot for the second round of the 2023 DGPT — Dynamic Discs Open.
Both fields saw even lower scores and ended with ties for the lead, still leaving little to no breathing room going into the final round. While the FPO field saw multiple eagles on the day, the MPO field kept racking up double-digit scores.

In stark contrast to last year’s howling winds, the 2023 Disc Golf Pro Tour — Dynamic Discs Open started off with hot weather and almost no wind at the Emporia Country Club. The FPO and MPO fields hit the ground running, finishing with hot scores and tight leaderboards.
