Our inaugural Women's Global Event in 2012 was a huge success and made history as the largest PDGA event for a single demographic within the sport of disc golf. 41 registered tournaments, reaching across 24 states and 4 countries (including United States, Norway, Finland and Australia) resulted in a turnout of 636 women in 15 different PDGA divisions.
Inaugurated in 2012, this biennial event continues to break records as the largest PDGA event for a single demographic within the sport of disc golf. The idea is that no woman is playing alone (even if she is the only woman playing at her local tournament) as women all over the world are playing with her that day.
The 2026 WGE will now incorporate two full weekends to accommodate busy schedules and with the hope that every woman and girl get the chance to play.
