The Next Step
It's always been called the next step.
The list of former winners are names you see every weekend on the Elite Series.
It all starts — a professional career — and ends — amateur status — here.
More than 400 players kick off the 2024 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships on Tuesday in Grand Rapids, Michigan — a loaded field representing 16 countries that will be competing for FA1 and MA1 titles.
There are storylines everywhere with Ryan Monn, the 2024 USADGC and 2024 MJ18 World Champion, chasing the 'Am Slam' of all three amateur PDGA Major titles in a year, to a record FA1 division of 114, one of the largest single-division fields in women's disc golf history.
You can follow all of the action on PDGA Live and look for next-day, lead-card coverage from Ace Run Pro (FA1) and Gatekeeper Media (MA1) on the PDGA's YouTube channel.
