2025 PDGA Amateur (MA1 & FA1) Disc Golf World Championships Registration Schedule

2025 PDGA Amateur (MA1/FA1) Worlds Registration Schedule v1 (Subject to Change)

  • In all cases a player must be both a current 2025 PDGA Amateur member and a Certified Official with an expiration after August 23, to register. If you are not a current 2025 PDGA Amateur member and/or not a Certified Official with an expiration date after August 23, you will not be able to register.

  • Invitees are subject to all eligibility requirements per Competition Manual 1.01, and nothing in an invitation shall be construed to create a right of the recipient to participate in this event.

  • Spots are held through May 18 in each division for any eligible 2024 World Champion (MA1/FA1 and MJ18/FJ18 if aged-out and still Amateur) to register. If not registered prior to May 19, those spots are released.

Unless otherwise highlighted below, all registration tiers open at 10:30 PM Eastern on the date indicated. If you live in a time zone other than Eastern, be sure to adjust accordingly. (Note: Eastern time is UTC -5 hours until 9-Mar when Daylight Savings Time starts at which time Eastern time is then UTC -4 hours.)

Tuesday, April 1 – Amateur (MA1/FA1) Worlds invite list is posted.

Tuesday, April 8 – Amateur (MA1/FA1) Worlds invitations are emailed to invitees.

Tuesday, April 15 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for one week to the Tier 1 Ratings-based Invitees ONLY for the division for which they were invited (based on the February Ratings Update). Noted as Tier 1 on the Invitation list.

Tuesday, April 22 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for one week to the Tier 2 Ratings-based Invitees for MA1 (based on the February Ratings Update). Noted as Tier 2 on the Invitation list.

Tuesday, April 29 at 1:00 PM Eastern – Registration opens for one week to both the Canadian and International (Non-North American) Invitees ONLY for the reserved Canadian/International spots (% based on tour participants) in the division(s) for which they were invited.

Tuesday, May 6 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for one week to all invitees only for the division(s) for which they were invited. If a division fills, then a waitlist is started only for invitees of the division in the order they are received.

Tuesday, May 13 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration opens for one week to invitees to register for any other division(s) they are eligible for if spots are available (example: players only invited for MA40 can now register for MA1). Any waitlists for filled divisions are continued with invited players in the order they are received.

Tuesday, May 20 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Open Registration for all current Amateur PDGA members for any division(s) they are eligible for. Waitlists for filled divisions are continued with any qualified amateur registrants.

IMPORTANT: Amateur Worlds-registered players wishing to participate in ancillary events such as Doubles, or any of the Field Events, must add them to their Worlds registration prior to registration closing on Tuesday, July 29.

Tuesday, July 29 at 10:30 PM Eastern – Registration closes, waitlists are closed. Dropped spots continue to be backfilled from the waitlists through August 16.

Sunday, August 17 – Divisional Fields and Player Pools are Finalized. Any players still on the waitlist are refunded, there are no replacements for drops once the waitlists are refunded.

Sunday, August 17 – Player Pools are posted. Tuesday, August 19 – Divisional Worlds play starts.
