Handley entered Championship Sunday of the final DGPT+ event of the season with a one-stroke lead and dropped one of the hottest rounds of the day to roll to a three-stroke victory, her third Elite Series win of the season.

Buhr, meanwhile, had a bigger cushion entering the final trek through the Toboggan track at Kensington MetroPark but saw his five-stroke lead shrink to just a single stroke coming down the stretch. He didn't blink and wrapped up his sixth overall win of 2024, including all four DGPT+ events, an Elite Series win and a PDGA Major title at the European Open.

Both were stellar off the tee throughout all four rounds. Handley led the field in OB rate, with just four, and fairway hits (75%) to go with six makes from Circle 2, which led to a 4.79 strokes-gained mark in putting. Buhr led in scramble rate (88%), C2 in Regulation (74%) and strokes gained tee-to-green (24.70).

Handley simply kept it clean in the final round, with just one bogey in her 7-under, 1011-rated finale. That score was matched by Hailey King, who jumped two spots into solo second place. Kristin Tattar rounded out the podium with a 20-under total, six back of Handley.

Buhr started slow and saw his lead whittle down with surges from Ricky Wysocki and Isaac Robinson, but clutched up down the stretch. His stellar week scrambling was highlighted on Hole 15 when his errant tee shot found the thick rough, but he escaped with a par. Wysocki pulled to within a stroke on 16 with a circle's edge birdie putt, but Buhr delivered a birdie on 17 and stuck to his risky roller shot on the daunting 18th tee to seal the win.

Robinson and Wysocki tied for second with a 30-under total, two behind Buhr.
